Blue Ridge Mountains Engagement Session at Max Patch

Chris and Lauren came from Florida for their engagement session at Max Patch. These two planned a destination wedding in Asheville and found Honeysuckle Hill venue. My friend, Candace, owns the venue and connected me with this couple. I’m so grateful they chose to have me document this special time in their lives. After photographing both the engagement session and wedding I can certainly say their love enriched my life in a true and sincere way!

I present all of my couples a detailed list of options for their session or elopement. Chris and Lauren chose Max Patch and understandably so, it’s really a beautiful gem among these mountains. Similar to Black Balsam Knob it has blown up in popularity over the years. My sincere hope is that everyone who visits these amazing destinations carries with them the same mindset I do. There is no part of me that wishes to harm this beautiful land, destroy it in any way, or take away from the beauty somehow. Now, back to Chris and Lauren. These two have such a deep love that left me feeling restored. At one point on the mountaintop, we all found ourselves crying. They expressed how they didn’t know if a true love existed for them but one they found one another that is exactly what blossomed. It was so apparent and I feel like I was able to accurately capture the depth of their love with my camera.
