Blue Ridge Parkway Adventure Engagement Session
Chelsea + Logan / Blue Ridge Parkway Adventure Engagement Session / May 2018
Chelsea and Logan flew from Florida for their Blue Ridge Parkway Adventure Engagement Session. It just so happened to be a complete wash out the entire weekend they were here! They had a roll with it attitude and we made the absolute best of it! Rain or no rain we were not going to let the weather dictate our experience. I really value this quality because this is also how I live. I always encourage my couples that we can make magic with whatever weather mother nature sees fit to give us! That is just what we did here!
Our first stop was ever popular and always beautiful Black Balsam Knob which is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had the best of it all this day because our next stop was a nearby waterfall that was more like a RAGING RIVER! It felt a bit dangerous but we were very careful. I definitely held my breath crossing the bridge which only had a handrail on one side!
I love that this couple chose to document their love in such an adventurous way. They love traveling and visiting national parks, forests, and other amazing beautiful spots like the Blue Ridge Mountains. I also think adventure engagement sessions are just about the best way to document your love as an engaged couple. Not everyone is up for a hike through the cold rain. Not everyone enjoys the kind of hike that requires you to literally pour water out of your boots afterward. This couple though, they were complete troopers and I think it paid off. We had an unforgettable adventure.
