Ashley + Clark’s Foggy Mountaintop Elopement near Asheville | October 2019

Ashley and Clark traveled from Ohio to elope in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains near Asheville! They arrived at a fog covered mountaintop for their elopement and truly embraced what Mother Nature had provided for us and had one of the best evenings adventuring around in the misty rain and fog! I loved being a part of this day and felt so grateful for clients who chose to embrace the weather instead of allowing it to negatively impact their experience!

I’m no stranger to photographing in the fog because the Blue Ridge mountains serve up their fair share of foggy days. I equipped my cameras with rain gear, threw on my rain jacket, and enthusiastically hit the trail with these sweethearts! We created a special evening together and it felt like such a joy to do that regardless of the weather!
