Below, I am going to suggest a few additional things for a WINTER or cold weather elopement…

Asheville Elopement Photographer's guide to What to pack for your elopement

Cold-weather elopements are still really amazing. I happen to love the way the winter light is golden for most of the day, the way the bare trees allow extra light to filter through, and the quiet, dormant feel to a winter landscape. Here are a few extra things I suggest for a cold-weather elopement…

EXTRA LAYERS! (You want to be warm! Being cold can really alter your elopement experience)

Hats + gloves

Wool socks + leggings / long johns

Hot hands hand warmers

Thermos with hot tea/coffee (a must for cold weather)

Things to make a campfire happen!

Cold weather footwear

I hope this list is helpful for you! My goal as an Asheville Elopement Photographer is to help couples have a magical elopement experience and I believe being prepared and ready for whatever may come is one of the ways to achieve that!
